Dress Sales Contract – Our Policies

Payment:  All Special Orders must be paid in full before we place the order with the designer/manufacturer.   Payment plans are available upon request, providing it does not alter the shipping schedule.   Payment Plans require payment activity every thirty days in order to avoid cancellation of the Sales Contract.  If there is no payment activity this will cause the Sales Contract to become voided with all prior payments forfeited.

We accept Cash, Debit Card, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express and Money Orders.  Card payments that are not made in person (via phone/fax) are subject to a $2 convenience fee.  NSF checks are subject to a $35.00 return check fee and other charges allowed to the extent of Michigan Law, including interest, service charges, and legal fees.

Merchandise Inspection & Pick Up:  Manufacturers allow us 5 days to make any manufacturing defect claims.  Our store recommends customers inspect their merchandise within 5 days of its arrival.  It is advised to try-on your items, and/or inspect them, before leaving.  We recommend customers pick up their items as soon as they arrive.  If you send someone else to pick up your merchandise, you assume all responsibility as it leaves Brooklyn Bridal & Prom.  Once items leave the store we are not responsible for making any concessions.  ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

Merchandise Pickup: If the merchandise is not picked up by the documented wear date, the merchandise will be considered abandoned.  Abandoned merchandise becomes the property of Brooklyn Bridal & Prom.

Dress Measurements:  Dress measurements are taken for the purpose of selecting the most appropriate size from the designers size chart, not to tailor-make a dress.  Alterations are almost always necessary to ensure a perfect fit.  If we have taken your measurements for dress ordering, the designer’s size chart will be reviewed with you.  You will be asked to accept the size selection recommended by Brooklyn Bridal & Prom from the designer’s size chart or note otherwise on your order.

Gown & Dress Fittings, Alterations:  Alterations are not included in the gown or dress order, unless authorized in writing by the manager.  Several fittings are sometimes necessary to ensure a perfect fit.  You are responsible for making your own appointments for fittings, measurements, and alterations.  If you require additional alterations because of weight loss, weight gain, pregnancy, or any other reason, you will pay additional alteration charges associated with re-sizing.  Payment in full is required prior to alterations or dyeing of shoes or handbags.

Cancellations, Refunds, Exchanges:  ALL SALES ARE FINAL.  No Returns. No Exchanges. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable.  Items for sale off-the-rack cannot be returned or exchanged once they leave the store.  If your order must be canceled due to a manufacturing issue, you will receive a full refund.
